VLC Video Playing with Compiz Fusion, are not always properly or is same black screen. This little problem is solved quickly by following these steps:
- Open VLC
- Options> Preferences
- Video> Output Modules
- video output module
- Click the Advanced checkbox (bottom right )
- select X11 video output
