How to rename all files in a directory at once

An interesting way to rename all files at once, essential when you want to rename photos in a folder.

Steps to install from a console:

http://www.xscd.com/pub/mvb/mvb_2.4.tgz
wget sudo tar zxvf mvb_2.4 . tgz-C / usr /
sudo chown-R root: root / usr/mvb_2.4 /
sudo ln-s / usr/mvb_2.4/mvb / usr / bin / mvb mvb
- h

once it is installed we move to the folder where the files you want to rename and type the following

mvb EXT-name-a new

in carptea have as resulatado
-name
nuevo01.jpg nuevo02.jpg name-name-nuevo03.jpg

.
.
.
nuevo11.jpg

name-add 0 to the number if the number of files in the folder above 10 elements. You can see the MAN of the mvb and show you all possible options.
